Monorails

On a monorail system the hoist and trolley run on a single stationary beam. This simplicity makes the monorail system a popular choice for moving materials within a specified range and positioning loads in specific locations. Monorails have many advantages including speed and efficiency of operation and lower cost that a comparable bridge crane. The only limitation of a monorail system is that it only provides two dimensional movement as opposed to the three dimensional movement of other styles of crane systems.

Although monorail crane systems are inherently simple McLAUGHLIN HOIST & CRANE can design, build, and install complex monorail systems involving curved tracks, swing out sections, and switches.
